Remember that these were reactions to the boredom caused by the work practices of the summer job team… I can’t really blame them… it might have made sense to me when I was 19 too. But now, I have so much on my mind and I’m quite set in my ways… work hard now to get the job done, then relax. In my mind, I just kept a mental mantra going as I trod through the day… just work and allow my mind to wander onto creative things… they didn’t ask me to manage the group, so just do what I’m told.
Here you see the bird just plodding along to nowhere in particular… just allowing time to pass.
While playing little more with the wet-on-wet watercolours to blend them, I still missed the greater texture of thicker paints, so I added the oil pastels.
