Dandelions and other similar flowers in their family have a special magic to them, at least for me. On the same plant, we can witness the entire life cycle at the same time. From the burgeoning nib on the stalks to the flower bud, onto the blossom and past to the seeding and decay of the petal casing… fascinating! maybe it’s the colour variations that capture me, or the textures and structures. I don’t know. I do know that I would love to watch the whole process from start to finish. I guess I’ll have to look for a time-lapse video.
