Book Review: The Boy Who Never Gave Up by Stephen Curry

What a beautiful story.

Stephen exemplifies what we want all our kids to know… they can be whatever they want, if they never give up wanting it and work to get it.

There’s a second valuable lesson here… Follow your dreams with all your heart and you will get he happiness those dreams fill you with.

Follow Stephen through his autobiography, written from what appears to be his perspective of himself as both child and what he would love to say to himself as a child. It is also a beautiful thank you letter to those who inspired him to become the success he is.

This book has excellent illustrations, clear and fluid vocabulary. It is an excellent story to read your own kids and your classroom.

I think it could be read to any age, but I would to read and discuss this with my first graders.

I hope you will love this book.
