Funny how perspective plays with what we are looking at. This is a small-ish rock that up close looked like a mountain range. It’s images like this that make me realize that I need to boost up the resolution on my camera and maybe get a lens for macros. Some parts just get too pixelated for my taste otherwise. It is fascinating how many different greys I saw in this rock. It would take me forever to paint something like this and I don’t think I’d have the patience. Anyway, it feels like I’m looking up at a challenging journey ahead, as the eye climbs, so does the sense of awe at the size of the mountain ahead. Where does it end?
